About Me

Hi! I'm Jessica, and I'd love to be your new family photographer! I've been in love with taking pictures ever since I signed up for a darkroom class on a whim in college, and while my subject matter has changed over the years, my desire to document special moments, people and places has only grown.

My goal in every session is to capture your joy and love and authentic selves. Whether we’re planning a family session or your senior is about to head off to college, I love working with clients to plan the perfect session for YOU. Some moments in life are full of chaos and kids who run away from the camera, in other moments, you might want an intimate portrait that shows your beauty and strength - wherever you are, I want to meet you there, and document your Now.

Prior to our move to Houston in 2012, I spent almost a decade working in the photojournalism and documentary multimedia film industry in New York City. I worked with the amazing team at MediaStorm to create and publish multimedia documentary films, and before that, produced the Eddie Adams Workshop, one of the top photojournalism workshops in the country. I've also lived and worked as a photo editor in Singapore, and done freelance work as both a photographer and a photo editor. You can see some of my personal travel photography here, if you're interested: Travel and Adventure.

My oldest daughter was born in early 2014, and twin girls came along in spring 2016, so naturally, my focus has turned to photographing family and friends, and I'm excited to expand my work to include our new community in and around The Woodlands.
